Departing from Greenock and destined for La Coruna on Spain's North West coast, you could be part of a 12-strong crew that will confront the Bay of Biscay, one of the most notorious stretches of the Atlantic Ocean, in our 2012 adult charity challenge that will push your physical and mental capacity to the limit.

Whether a complete novice or an accomplished sailor, our experienced and qualified sea staff will guide you as you embark on the toughest challenge of your life aboard our magnificent 72ft challenge yacht, Alba Explorer.

A testing 10 days at sea will culminate in your arrival at La Coruna where you will can enjoy the spectacle of the Tall Ships Races 2012 as the flotilla arrives in port.

An information night for anyone interested in hearing more will be held on Tuesday 13 December in Glasgow. There will be a training weekend at Greenock on 13 - 15 April 2012 to meet other crewmembers, familiarise yourself with the boat and the basics, discuss the route and the challenge in more detail.
