Membership
We have two types of membership, a shore membership and a sailing membership. The fees for our shore membership are as follows:
| Adult Shore membership | £35 |
| Concession Shore membership (under 24, full time student or senior citizen) | £17 |
| Family Shore membership (2 adults and 2 children under 24 or in full time education) | £70 |
| Life Shore membership | £350 |
| Joint life Shore membership | £600 |
A Shore membership allows you to:
- Attend all OYT Scotland events.
- Join a local shore group.
- Attend the OYT Scotland AGM (if over 16).
- Receive the Alba Express and Sail~eMail news.
Our Sailing membership fees are as follows:
| Adult Sailing membership (must be over 16) | £115 |
| Concession Sailing Membership (over 16 and under 24, full time student or senior citizen) | £60 |
A Sailing Membership has the same benefits as the shore membership and also allows you to:
- Sail on the OYT Scotland vessels as a member of sea staff.
- Participate in practical training courses run by OYT Scotland.
If you would like take out a family membership one or more of the family members can be upgraded to a sailing member. An £80 supplement will be added to the family membership fee for each person wishing to become a sailing member.
Membership fees are charged on a pro-rata basis.
